Our team is composed of dedicated professionals, including admin staff, allied health assistants, and speech pathologists, who have undergone training and education to assist individuals with orofacial myology, feeding, voice, early language, and speech disorders. With a commitment to delivering comprehensive and evidence-based assessment and treatment, our therapists cater to both children and adults with a diverse range of presentations. Drawing from their broad experience, our team members possess a genuine passion for helping individuals achieve their goals. We take great pride in creating a warm and inviting environment where clients feel at ease and fully supported throughout their therapy journey.

THERESA ELLIOTT

Speech Pathologist & Orofacial Myologist

Theresa is a Speech Pathologist, Orofacial Myologist and the founder of Aura Speech Pathology. Theresa ensures that her professional knowledge is current so that she can provide the highest possible level of care to her clients. Theresa has experience in providing assessment and therapy across the lifespan in a range of settings, and has a special interest in; speech, orofacial myology, and feeding therapy. Theresa’s approach to therapy is play-based and functional, ensuring that each and every activity is engaging and meaningful.

Sera Catania

Speech Pathologist

Sera is a Speech Pathologist with experience in providing holistic assessment and intervention to children. She is passionate about supporting both little people and adults to express themselves confidently at home and in their community. Sera’s special areas of interest are speech, feeding and orofacial myology. In her spare time she enjoys going for walks with her dog and catching up with friends and family.

BETh STEVENS

Allied Health Assistant & Administration

Beth has been with Aura Speech for over two years now. She loves working with children and has done so for the last 9 years in various roles. Beth has also completed a certificate III in Allied Health Assistance. In her spare time she loves to travel & has visited many countries around the world. Beth’s favourite thing about working as an AHA is watching the progress in her clients and being able to celebrate their amazing achievements.

Madeleine Clark

Allied Health Assistant

Maddy is currently in her fourth year of studying Speech Pathology at the University of Queensland and is eager to expand her knowledge and skills as an Allied Health Assistant. Through her studies, she has worked with those across the lifespan, although she specifically loves working with children. Maddy loves playing guitar, surfing, her cat, and of course, all things speech pathology.

Maddy’s “Aura“: Indigo – The indigo Aura is one of the more rare Auras that individuals can find themselves gifted with. They are fiercely confident, independent, and brimming with an energy that invigorates those they interact with.
