FUNDING
Did you know that there are great avenues of funding available to assist families in paying for speech pathology services? You or your child may be eligible to receive funding through various sources, a few of which are listed below. Feel free to reach out to us for support in determining which funding option is best suited for you and your family’s needs.
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
Aura Speech is not a registered NDIS Service Provider. We provide therapy support to self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. NDIS participants can be seen at home, school, or at our clinic. We follow the NDIS price guide for allied health services and have a price guide review each calendar year.
Medicare rebates
Chronic Disease Management (formerly Enhanced Primary Care or EPC) is a GP-initiated referral clients may be eligible for. This allows for a rebate on the private fee for up to 5 sessions with allied health services as stipulated by your GP
Private Health Insurance
Many Private Health plans include rebates on occupational therapy and physiotherapy services. Each health fund differs with respect to how rebates are processed, and the amount they provide as a rebate.
